iPod 5th generation preview

Welcome fellow nerds! We're going to kick today off by taking a look an in-depth look at the iPod Touch 5th Generation and some of it's features.

Start Up:
Alright, right out of the box this product really impresses.  It's incredibly thin and light, plus the included wrist band really comes in handy.  The back gets greasy very easy, so it's a good idea to get a good case and protective screen film.  The setup is relatively easy and takes 4 hours to charge.  Then you're ready to start exploring your new device.

Camera:
The camera on this edition of iPod is a nice piece of hardware.  The auto focus and red eye editor is sufficient for your photo snapping needs. The pictures get a little grainy in low light but the built in flash helps.  This iPod also can take Panorama pictures, which allows you to take wider shots.

Music:
Always the iPod's core feature, this edition doesn't disappoint.  With built in iTunes and Genius playlists, it's very strong in this area.  Plus the included Apple Earpods pack excellent audio that, in my opinion, rivals Beats by Dr. See headphones.  If you're in for the music, you picked well.

Social Network:
Although I'm not into Facebook and Company, this iPod integrates Facebook and Twitter into practically EVERYTHING.  It's great for people who are into that kind of stuff.

Gaming:
The new processor in this baby is pretty nice and makes for relatively seamless game play.  Even if you haven't had this thing to long, you realize pretty quickly that gaming is becoming one of it's more  used features, and Apple is taking advantage of that.

Display:
The highly toted Retina Display was a little disappointing and compared to other non Retina Display Apple devices doesn't really look any different.  Don't get me wrong, though, the display is still beautiful, just not much more than other Apple devices.

Overall:
This device is pretty all around and doesn't have any blaring weaknesses.  I love my device and would definitely recommend this device to people.  My rating is 5 out of 5 overall for the iPod 5th generation.

I hope everybody finds this post useful.  Have a great day!
